Given the importance of dignity in care, professional associations representing care sectors came together to produce a pack of training material which will help residential care home owners and domiciliary care providers ‘dignity-proof’ the care their staff offer, and to raise awareness of the importance of providing services that respect people’s privacy, confidentiality and dignity.
A free copy of the material, sponsored by the Department of Health, was sent on a CD-rom to every care provider registered by the end of October 2009. The same material is downloadable below. to download the Home Care or Residential Care Set
