ECCA currently offers three categories of membership for:

  • Independent care providers and care provider groups of all sizes, whether privately owned, public companies, voluntary, charity or other not-for-profit organisations
  • Local and regional care provider associations
  • Commercial organisations who wish to build a business relationship with ECCA


1. Care provider membership

2. Local Association membership

ECCA is keen to work with Local Associations to strengthen its presence at the grass roots level and increase the number of services it represents. Local associations will also benefit from links with a national organisation that can act as a conduit for their views and raise their concerns at the highest level.


Local Associations who wish to join ECCA may do so for £2 per annum per bed that their Association represents. To apply email  This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Benefits

The benefits of full ECCA membership are not open to all services in the Association and the main contact with ECCA is through the Association Chair.


The Chair alone will:

  • Receive the ECCA monthly newsletter, Care Agenda, and the daily press cuttings service
  • Receive copies of all news releases and other ECCA information for onward dissemination to Local Association members
  • Act as the conduit for members who wish to contact ECCA executives for advice and support
  • Receive invitations to seminars and events


All other members will have:

  • Access to the dedicated advice lines for legal, regulation, HR, crisis management, and fire regulation issues
  • Benefit from the special admission price for the annual ECCA Conference
  • Access to specialist online training courses
  • Receive savings and discounts on products and services


3. Supporter Membership

The supporter membership package provides an ideal opportunity for commercial partners to engage more closely with ECCA, its policy work and its members. The full package comprises the benefits below, but may be adapted to suit the individual requirements of prospective members.

  • Engage with key players in areas of policy, regulation and government at lunches and ECCA Winter Summit
  • Feed in your company views through ECCA Chief Executive

2. Advertising & promotion to ECCA members

  • Feature in the ECCA website Supplier section (Logo, link, description)
  • Bespoke advertising package in the ECCA newsletter

3. Information updates

  • Monthly newsletter with reports and analysis of current issues
  • Daily cuttings service

4. Input into government consultation exercises

  • ECCA is represented on key policy groups and receives copies of all relevant sector consultation documents
  • ECCA will circulate these to supporter members and feed their views and comments into the consultation process

5. Input from ECCA’s executive team

  • Opportunities to meet Martin Green, Chief Executive of ECCA, for policy & regulation briefings, sector overviews and analyses
