What the conference will cover

· The recent announcement of a Green Paper consultation on the future of care was accompanied by warnings that, without radical reform, England's social care system is heading towards a £6bn funding gap.

· In November when the 6 month consultation is nearing its end, ‘Mind the Gap!’ will give care home delegates a timely opportunity to debate the gap between the resources required to deliver high quality Social Care and the funding available.

· The day’s programme will also feature two seminar/workshop sessions to provide specialist advice and support
